It felt exciting, natural… everything was where it needed to be.

Now, what if I told you that connections can be designed?

That’s what I do. I connect people to ideas. I lead creative teams. I design flagship products used by millions every day, generating over $138 billion dollars for some of the world’s largest companies. One of those designs even earned me an Emmy, an honor I never anticipated and still feel humbled by.

At its core, though, it’s not about awards. It’s about connections.

I first designed connections as an event producer, delivering dozens of big-budget corporate events and over 20 original immersive stories. From the dazzling spectacle of Jazz Age on the Delaware and the candlelight intrigue of Au Dîner des Voleurs, to the critically acclaimed thriller series, Friends of Autumn, each story explored a different intersection of art and humanity.

But I learned it’s not enough to simply design connections. We need to improve the systems through we connect as well.

As a W3C volunteer and co-author of the world’s leading accessible design standards, I help people connect with technology. At Comcast, I connected people in over 30 countries with mental health programs, helping those in need at a global scale. At WITNESS, I worked to ensure governments connected peacefully with their citizens, a mission that earned us a Peabody Award in 2024. And now, I’m connecting industry leaders from Microsoft, Adobe, Meta, and more to ensure they protect our future.

Along this path, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with extraordinary folks.

World class engineers, artists, visionaries, volunteers covered in dust, people in need of help… their stories shaped me — how I see the world, how I listen, and how I tell my stories. Because in the end, it’s not about the road. It’s about the moments that connect us along the road. So whether I’m designing products, creating events, or sharing a drink with friends, my goal always remain the same.
